Welcome to CIS Career Café!
The CIS Career Café service is intended to support employees interested in understanding potential careers and roles outside of their current community. The service will connect you with an experienced person within a different role family in which you express interest and help facilitate a focused but informal meeting with them where they can talk more about the role and you can ask questions.
They will provide real life insight into what they do and the challenges they face in role, and help you to understand what skills and competencies you would need in order to be successful within that role.
Following a CIS Career Café conversation, you should be better informed on whether a certain career path / change is something you wish to pursue further.
